Protecting the First 1,000 Days. Science shows the 1,000 days between conception and age two form the most critical window for a baby's brain development and nervous system. Standard care leaves you at six weeks; we protect the entire window.

We combine ancestral wisdom with developmental science, staying by your side for 12 months of postpartum support and seamlessly tracking milestones up to age 5.

We are the only home birth practice in Louisville led by a Master’s Level Occupational Therapist.

We catch what others miss, ensuring your baby thrives from day one. You get the deeply rooted, compassionate care of a traditional Midwife, perfectly paired with the razor-sharp expertise of a Master's-level Occupational Therapist.

Sweet Water is a deeply inclusive, culturally safe sanctuary. As a Black Midwife, I proudly champion equitable care for Black and Brown families, while providing a fiercely protected, evidence-based space for all families seeking a sovereign birth experience.

Time to Breathe. We spend in-depth time together at every visit. No rushing. Just time to talk, ask questions, and feel supported. We are with you through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, helping you feel calm, confident, and cared for.

A Rested Midwife. We believe good care starts with sustainable care. We prioritize rest and family balance so that when you call, we show up present, energized, and fully there for you.

Intentional Exclusivity To maintain this level of attention, we keep our practice small. We intentionally support a limited number of families at a time to ensure you get the focus you deserve.
